DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence with an up-close view of the\nWilliam J. Stone copy of the Declaration of Independence. This exhibit will be a rare opportunity to\nsee what is called the “official copy” of the Declaration. Commissioned in 1820\, it took William Stone\nthree years to produce the copperplate for this lithograph.\nThe Bangor Historical Society will display its seldom-displayed Stone copy of the Declaration on the 4th of\nJuly in downtown Bangor. \nWhen: Saturday\, July 4th\, 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM\nWhere:   33 State Street\, Downtown Bangor Partnership Welcome Center\nAdmission: FREE ADMISSION
