Join us for a one time only event on Saturday, October 12th at 10am, on the 87th anniversary of the Brady Gang Shootout in Downtown Bangor! We will meet at the home of the Bangor Historical Society, the Thomas A. Hill House at 159 Union Street, where we will have the good fortune to hear from Bangor Historian and Brady Gang expert, Dick Shaw, who will share stories, photos, and rare artifacts involving the FBI’s most wanted gangster in 1937. We will follow Al Brady and his gang and learn of the crimes that led to their eventual demise on Central Street on that bright October morning. Following the talk, we will walk to the site of the shooting to see where history happened all those years ago.
