The BHS presents: Stephen King’s Carrie under the stars

August 21 at 6:30 pm 10:00 pm

The Bangor Historical Society proudly presents a spine-chilling movie night under the stars at the historic Mount Hope Cemetery: the 1976 masterpiece Carrie, directed by Brian De Palma and based off Stephen King’s first published novel. 

Wednesday, August 21, gates open at 6:30 pm, with the film starting at 8 pm. Tickets must be purchased ahead of the event and will be capped at 500 attendees. Each ticket is $15.

Tickets on sale starting Friday, July 26 at noon.

Parking for the event is located at United Technologies Center at 200 Hogan Road in Bangor. To ensure comfort and convenience, buses will be available to transport attendees to and from Mount Hope. Bus transport for the film will start at 6:30PM. Buses will loop from UTC to the cemetery until just prior to the film’s start time. PARKING IS NOT AVAILABLE IN THE CEMETERY. Only handicap parking is available on site: please contact us at 207-942-1900 for more details. There will also be a designated drop off/pick up area outside the cemetery’s State Street gate.
